I don't know about true boot. I have the di-novo (it was a gift! I swear it!) and while it uses PS/2 to do the kb functions, i am unable to use it to start teh machine (kbpower up), while it seems to work fine in the bios. if anyone knows whether or not this thing can kb power up lemme know... it just might be worth the "downgrade."

There are products that can do this (like remote starters for cars), but not built in to any keyboards I know of. It would require an additional connection to short the two power pins on the motherboard.
