    I tried this camera and it's pretty good for things like eBay pics or if someone is standing still. Action shots are very hard because the lag time between the shutter button press and the actual picture taking is interminable. It is very easy to use though. I got one for my parents who are not very demanding when it comes to picture taking. Good for the money as long as you accept it's limitations.

    The big problem i found with it is night shots and with any big room (IE a party) because of a weak flash and poor autofocus at long range.

    Not even my Nikon Coolpix 5000 can take good pictures in a room like that at night if without mounting the extra powered flash.

    get a digicam with a hot shoe, and mount an external flash.

    use bounce flash to make the picture more natural.

    I found at max tele, the edges were a little fuzzy w/ a slight barreling in the center, IMHO.

    Love Mine but I agree with #2 and #3. It's a nice entry digital camera.
