"Aimed primarily at women in their twenties, Jane Magazine is about becoming a happier, more fulfilled person."

And I am certain that Ben's site reaches to that exact demographic.

Aimed primarily at women in their twenties? But most bensbargainers are males.

#4: Does that mean there's no centerfold?

I hope that there is! I love that center spread!

Don't subscribe any magazines through them. I have tried to contact them since December with my Popular Science subscription that I placed in 11/1/06. No responses whatsoever. I checked with Popular science and there was never an order being placed. I wouldn't recommand to anyone. Also, go check on bbb.org. You will see lots of complaints.

I got some of the magazines offered from my credit card on the envelope. It worked out well. They charge you approx $4 per magazine. When you call after the first year or before you would have to pay full price, it gives you the option to not cancel today and get the $4 back! then you can call the next day and cancel.
So you get the magazine(s) for free.

Jane's defence weekly is for warmongers. It puts you in touch with your world dominating side. It's not just aimed primarily at women, everyone is considered a legitimate target.

A lot of these magazine services really total scams. One place I ordered had this incredible price for ESPN. Think it was $15 for 3-5 years. You place the order and then they tell you 8-12 weeks for delivery (just so happens that's beyond what most credit cards will do for any chargebacks). Just for good measure, if you inquire about order, they tell you 3-5 more weeks. They scam people $15 at a time. These places have been around for over 10 years which is unbelievable. I got my money back and then some after going through hassle with credit card company and the BBB. All in all, I just wasted my time but got $50 back from the place + $25 from my credit card company. Even though I made on the deal, too much hassle.

You're right, and I can show you copies of all the 'concerned' emails you're going to get from them, right up to where they don't even answer any more (I'm 0 for 3 with MagsforLess). There are several legit subscription services on the net, but MagsForLess isn't one of them. Nothing ventured for a 'free' subscription, but you'd be unwise to trust MagsForLess with anything else. In fact, they have such a universal rep for rip-off, I wish Ben would quit featuring anything to do with them at all, free or otherwise.

My wife wanted this subscription, I'm glad it was posted. Anything she wants I can get for free is a good thing.
